The project
Element was a collaboration with fellow designers Zoë Judd and Charya Peou as part of Northeastern University's Outdoor Experience Design program. Water and odor-resistant, the blanket folds into three distinct forms — pillow, jacket, or sleeping bag — using a cinching system that adapts to the environment. Material is sourced from post-consumer recycled plastic through partnerships with local recycling centers. The project won a 2021 RISE Focus Award for Design.
